Here is a very nice Grueby Pottery bottle form vase with 5 sharply tooled leaves. It is covered in a thin pale matte green glaze which highlights the raised decoration. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or firing flaws, just the typical fine bubbles and inconsistencies to the glaze and a couple barely visible nicks to the leaf edges. Marked with a partially visible earlier Grueby Faience Boston USA die-stamp with some losses to the center of the base where it stuck to the kiln shelf during firing. It measures 7 3/8 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at the widest point. A beautiful form with an unusual glaze from the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery.
